New TOOL increases CFS’ Metal fabrication Capabilities

CHANHASSEN, MN (Sept. 26, 2005) – To enhance its metal fabrication capabilities, Custom Fab Solutions, LLC (CFS), a custom plastic/metal fabricator and systems integrator serving technology industries, has replaced its Strippit punch press with a new, state-of-the-art Strippit press.

The improved speed and capabilities of the new rugged machine will benefit customers who have large piece parts, require fast turnaround and demand precision.

“The new Strippit will give us even greater flexibility for punching and profiling applications,” said Mike Elftmann, CFS Vice President of Operations. “It is one of the first steps we are taking in metal fabrication to maximize productivity and deliver more value to our customers.”

The new machine, which will be used with stainless steel and aluminum sheet stock, will accommodate 4’ x 10” material and will provide economical production of piece parts.
