CUSTOM FAB SOLUTIONS' EXPANDS PLASTIC FABRICATION AND METAL FINISHING CAPABILITIES TO MEET DEMANDS OF HIGH TECHNOLOGY MARKETS.
CHANHASSEN, MN (April 30, 2004) – Responding to demands for more services and capacity, Custom Fab Solutions, LLC (CFS), a custom plastic/metal fabricator and systems integrator serving technology industries, is expanding its plastic fabrication and metal finishing operations.
“Our new state-of-the-art CNC router will increase capacity and add efficiency to our plastic machining operations,” said Mike Elftmann, Vice President of Operations. “And a new vertical CNC turning center will increase capacity in our high tolerance plastic machining area.” Both tools will be installed and operational by May 24th.
The company also announced plans to build a new electropolishing work center that will meet high end electropolishing requirements for the vacuum and semiconductor industries. “We anticipate the addition of this work center will give us the potential to significantly increase the number of customers we are currently able to serve,” said Elftmann. The work center is scheduled to be operational July 1st.
“The fact that we are expanding indicates to us that CFS is meeting customers’ needs and further validates our intention to supply our customers with the quality custom products they demand,” said Larry Vortherms, Vice President and General Manager. “With these additions, we will be able to meet more needs for increasingly sophisticated customized products and services that are being requested by technology markets.”
