NEW CUSTOMERS REFLECT CUSTOM FAB SOLUTIONS’ CONTINUING ABILITY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF HIGH TECHNOLOGY MARKETS
CHANHASSEN, MN (March 24, 2004) – Custom Fab Solutions, LLC (CFS), a custom plastic/metal fabricator and systems integrator serving technology industries, has received orders from three new customers. These sales, along with another sale from a recently established customer, build on a growing customer base of clients who require application support, precision manufacturing and quick-turn deliveries.
The first new customer, a Minnesota-based medical manufacturing company, placed an order for special tooling -- 300 series stainless steel, chemically treated for process compatibility -- which allowed the customer to add new process capability. Also, CFS used its application knowledge with this customer to design a unique chemical metering component. This part, in conjunction with additional components that will be added to the customer’s process tool by CFS, will allow for virtually maintenance-free system operation.
The second new customer, serving the medical and advanced electronics industries, called on CFS to electropolish a large tool component that required a 20 Ra surface finish. This specification was easily achieved and delivered to the customer within 24 hours of receipt.
The third new customer required several special PFA plumbing manifolds and a variety of support components for a custom product. All components supplied were manufactured from PFA and fabricated to customer specifications.
In a follow-up order from a recently established customer, CFS is fabricating process components from 316 L stainless steel and chemically treating them to meet requirements of the microelectronics industry. The order follows several other orders for supporting products used in the customer’s end use product.
“We are confident that these new orders will lead to long-term relationships with these customers as we strive to meet their needs for technology solutions demanded in their high-quality products,” said Bill Braunwarth, CFS director of sales and marketing.
